AEW "Working On" New Video Game Projects

Fight Forever won't be the last video game AEW releases. Here's an update!

AEW referee Aubrey Edwards says she's "working on other stuff for AEW Games that [she] can't talk about yet".

Edwards told 'Under The Ring' that she had nothing to do with the recent Fight Forever video game, but that she's super proud of everybody who worked on the project; that's especially true for Kenny Omega, who had never been involved in building a game from the ground up before tackling that task.

Now, Aubrey is looking to the future. She teased that there's way more to come from AEW Games. That, it should be noted, is not official confirmation that there's a Fight Forever sequel on the way imminently. AEW's first full-priced title only launched in late June, so it'd be smart to squeeze more out of that before moving onto other things.

There are "other" projects in the pipeline though.

Edwards called the future "super, super exciting", but there's no word yet on whether she's talking about more mobile games or something for major consoles. Again, Fight Forever is still fresh, and Tony Khan's company will want to maximise profits from that before moving on completely.

It's good to know that AEW Games is hungry for more though.
