You have to be really listening to hear these, but certain wrestlers will make off-the-cuff remarks while playing as or indeed against them, with MJF, Chris Jericho, and Orange Cassidy amongst them.

MJF and Jericho's dialogue is primarily submission-based, as the former will inform you how better he is when applying a submission as an AI, whereas the inaugural AEW World Champion will demand the referee "Ask him!", a trademark aspect of Jericho's AEW mantra. Cassidy, meanwhile, has a chain of hilarious cracks, including his claims that Paul Wight is too heavy to lift when attempting to pick the former Big Show from off his feet and his vocal submission of "That's enough" while trapped in a submission.

As shoddy as the voice recordings may sound, they provide the game with a fresh lick of paint and act well to accurately differentiate between each character's grunts and groans or, in Jeff Hardy's case, his mid-air hollering.

Again, this is an accurate representation of Hardy's character that goes a long way in separating him from a Jungle Boy or a Darby Allin.
