AEW Fight Forever: 14 Tiny Details That'll Blow Your Mind
13. Weapons Can Be Thrown
AEW Fight Forever offers a ton of weapons - and actual explosives, naturally - but they're limited in usage. The strikes are largely the same for each weapon, being basic in execution, with the weapon then vanishing after only two hits. The system is a bit of a letdown, is the point, but there's a hidden way in which you can use the weaponry in such a way to get the most out of them.
By pressing R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) when holding certain weapons, you'll toss them at your opponent, so long as you're facing the appropriate direction. Again, these animations are slightly basic, but they feel fresh in comparison to the bog standard strikes you'll perform eternally in Lights Out matches.
Only specific weapons can be thrown (tables and ladders, for instance, can't be) and it can be a bit tricky to get the hang of it, so don't be put off if you drop the weapon initially. Try the technique with a football or a kerosene tank and watch the magic unfold.
