AEW Fight Forever: 14 Tiny Details That'll Blow Your Mind

8. Thumbtacks Stick Into Wrestlers' Backs

To reiterate, AEW Fight Forever hasn't hit the nail in the head when it comes to how weapons look and react to being used. Disappearing after two shots to the body, causing migraines whenever a player dares to try and pick them up, and being generally uniform in use (a table and a baseball bat shouldn't have the same striking animation), they're not perfect; far from it, actually.

This is what makes the game's use of thumbtacks so lavish, though, as they act like thumbtacks. Slam a wrestler onto them or knock them over with a strike, and their body will be smothered in tacks.

The inclusion of drawing pins and the successful way in which they've been programmed into the game make playing a Lights Out match worth the hassle of trying to find the damn sack.
