11. Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games - Arcade Edition

For some reason, it was decided that the already terrible Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games was worthy of an arcade version. Unfortunately, the days where the arcade version of a game was superior to the console equivalent have long passed, so Mario & Sonic At The Rio 2016 Olympic Games Arcade Edition is just a watered-down version of an already bad game.

It has fewer characters and fewer sports to participate in, only having Hammer Throw, 100m, Javelin Throw, 100m Freestyle Swimming, Archery, 110m Hurdles, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Long Jump, and Trampoline. Oh, and there's the bonus 4x100m Relay where you can go against one of the guest characters.

For some baffling reason, these guest characters aren't playable. These include are Toad, Nabbit, Rouge the Bat, and E-123 Omega. I guess none of us have the power to wield Toad!

Look, the game isn't terrible, it's just that if you're at an arcade then there will be a lot of better games to be playing so don't waste your money on this if you see it on your travels.
