Amazon To Sell Signed Copies of The Witcher 2 - Enhanced Edition

Online retailer set to stock signed copies of The Witcher 2 for its launch on Xbox 360

Namco Bandai have announced a launch exclusive which reveals that Amazon UK is to sell signed copies of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings €“ Enhanced Edition for the launch of the game on Xbox 360 on April 17. The entire launch stock of the game from the online retailer have been hand signed by members of the CD Projekt development team. As seen at MVC, the signed stock is limited and once the launch allocation runs out then normal copies will be shipped.
€œOver the last few days, they have found the time to pass thousands of inlays around the office but once the launch allocation is gone, it€™s gone,€ Amazon said. €œDon€™t miss out on this unique opportunity! These are not printed signatures. Orders made after the launch allocation runs out won€™t receive a signed copy.€
It€™s a pretty nice idea from the development team, and it€™s certainly getting people talking about the game ahead of its release for the 360. Personally, as I was unable to play the game on PC I was looking forward to a 360 release anyway, having a signed copy is a nice touch. With the problems in the retail market recently it certainly draws attention to Amazon, so both parties win in the agreement. So with this announcement will you now be re-considering your preorder? Not that bothered either way? Or have you got a preorder with Amazon anyway and this is just an added bonus? Let us know in the comments.
