Assassin's Creed: 4 Settings We Want To See In Future Instalments

3. Hundred Years€™ War

AC fans have been asking for a game based around the French Revolution for some time. Despite it being an important era, both socially and politically, a more exciting AC game could take place during the Hundred Years€™ War, which was fought between France and England. Civil war broke out in France after the assassination of Louis of Valois by the Burgundian John the Fearless in 1407. Charles of Orleans, Louis€™s son, quickly formed the Armagnac coalition to face against the Burgundians. The two French powers fought for the control of Paris for over a decade, leading to the assassination of John the Fearless in 1419. At the same time the Hundred Years€™ War was raging on, including the famous win for the English at Agincourt. The English captured Paris after John€™s assassination - King Henry V died shortly afterwards. Charles of Orleans, now known as Charles VII of France, failed to take the city in €™29, despite help from Joan of Arc, but he did succeed in 1436. From this point on the English slowly started losing land to the French, under the command of Charles VII. This story is a perfect one for Assassin€™s Creed. Based around Paris and Orleans, you would have the French civil war and the Hundred Years€™ War included in the plot. As long as the protagonist was a supporter of Charles of Orleans, they would be see the various battles in Paris and the Siege of Orleans; Joan of Arc€™s biggest success.
