1. Use Photo Mode To Orientate Yourself In Combat (Naval Or Otherwise)

Depending on how you play, leaping head-first into battle can often feel overwhelming. You're supposed to lock onto enemies and jostle between them with the right stick, but sometimes it can still feel like you're forever getting stabbed from off-screen.

As a quick fix, jab both L3 and R3 to trigger the photo mode, and use this to get a lay on where enemies are coming from. Though you can't zoom TOO far out, it should be enough to spot far-away archers, and any reinforcements that are about to enter the fray.

Also usable during naval combat, if you've just finished boarding one boat and are deciding where to head next, pop on Photo Mode to give yourself more time. It can be a lifesaver.
