7. Marvel Heroes
Ever wondered what a Diablo-meets-Marvel crossover would look like? Marvel Heroes has you covered. Although it's proven to be pretty divisive online thanks to some repeating character models and a reliance on in-game purchases to unlock the rest of the roster (although the base game is free), if you're a fan of the isometric smash-em-all approach to combat, loot drops and screen-filling special attacks it's spot on. Terms like DLC or the very idea of buying supplementary content after you've downloaded the main game might make some people run for the hills (and for good reason), but as a mindless enemy-basher with gorgeous graphics, a great frame rate and copious amounts of loot-drops that can unlock the paid-for characters if you play long enough, this is a more in-depth Marvel re-skinning of Diablo people have wanted since Ultimate Alliance proved it was already a great idea.
