Best Innovation
The category for games bringing something new and unique to the table, all of which are incredibly innovative in their own right, er... apart from Call of Duty, or is that just me? Personally I'd given up in the series as I felt all games were a bit, 'samey'. Do you think it deserves a place amongst the others? Especially with the inventive peripheral for the PlayStation Move game Wonderbook or the imaginative Fez. The Nominations Journey Kinect Sesame Street TV The Unfinished Swan Wonderbook: Books of Spells Fez Call of Duty: Black Ops II Winner The Unfinished Swan A second win tonight for The Unfinished Swan, this is developer Giant Sparrow's debut and a pretty exciting debut for them with both awards received. The innovation behind the game lies in it's beautiful all white landscape complimented with an ominous soundtrack, in the opening level the player must find their way around an all white labyrinth by firing black blobs of paint that brings out the scenery. Really though, can someone tell me the innovation behind Black Ops II?
