Batman: Arkham Insurgency - 10 Villains That Must Be Included

Just where in the world are Warner Bros. Montreal?

Literally speaking they reside in Canada, but much like the elusive Carmen Sandiego, the studio have kept fans guessing as to what they've been up to. Some hypothesised that they - not Rocksteady - were working on a long-rumoured Superman title, others said that they'd be carrying the Arkham franchise forward in the wake of Arkham Knight, but details have proven to be somewhat scarce since.

The rumour doing the rounds six months ago was that the studio would be returning with a sequel to Arkham Origins - called Arkham Insurgency. The leak that birthed the rumour also boasted a shortlist of villains, who - while a definite change from the Joker, Joker and oh, more Joker we've experienced thus far - isn't going to set the world alight by any stretch of the imagination.

"Maxie Zeus, Dollmaker, Killer Moth, Anarky, Two-Face, Blockbuster, Ventriloquist, Cornelius Stirk, Tweedledee & Tweedledum, Dusan al Ghul, Mad Monk, Dala and The Riddler," were the names mooted in that leak, but there are plenty of other Bat-villains equally as if not more deserving of a spot on the roster - each capable of boasting either an ancillary or supporting role in the story.

Origins gets a bad rap as it is, but with the right villains at their disposal, Montreal could just make a follow up every Bat-fan can enjoy.
