We all knew Rocksteady's final venture into the Batman mythos was destined for greatness, but with Arkham Knight the studio have really exceeded expectations. Pouring blood, sweat and tears into crafting the ultimate Batman playground for their swan song, they've taken everything from Arkham City and cranked it to 11. Massive environments swallow previous instalments whole, an epic scale fleshes everything out in new and improved ways, there are more villains than you can shake a batarang at - and most importantly, you've got dozens upon dozens of side missions to discover. Chances are you've already stumbled across a few of these as you're introduced to several of them early on through Gotham City's 'Most Wanted', a nifty little feature that makes locating the various side missions scattered throughout the game world a simple matter of navigating the menu and marking a destination. With anarchy erupting across the city, Gotham's most notorious have come out to play - some are faces you've seen (and smashed in) before, others are new to the Arkhamverse, but all are worth your time as Rocksteady have gone above and beyond in terms of providing an incentive for players to delve into the world of Arkham Knight. After all, it's only possible to attain the game's "real" ending by scouring every nook and cranny. It certainly seems like quite the Herculean task, but every journey begins with a few small steps.
