Forget the rich graphics, the free-flowing combat and the loyal character portrayals, the most exciting thing about a Rocksteady Batman title is the sheer depth and detail of the game world and its inhabitants. You never know which Bat friend or foe is going to pop up next in the Arkham series, but when they do you can count on them being so satisfyingly true to the source material that you can almost hear the collective squeak of comic book fans across the world. We've already given a blow-by-blow account of the Gotham villains we want see in Batman's first next-gen outing Arkham Knight, but we've already seen so different super criminals in the series so far that there's little Rocksteady could throw at us that would be a real surprise. There are, however, still a tonne of great good guys that haven't been given any lime light whatsoever. This last Arkham game is a chance to serve up some real Easter eggs to the fans with the inclusion of some rare characters from the right side of the law. These are the heroes we hope will stand alongside us as we dispense violent justice Caped Crusader style in Batman Arkham Knight.
