Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Insane Moments You Need To Play

8. The Riddler Races

The Riddler has been a huge part of the 'Arkham' series of titles, more so as a character who offers side quests which deviate from the main story being told. The same can be said in Arkham Knight, but there's even more scope for his hijinks with the introduction of the Batmobile.

During Batman's interactions with Edward Nigma, the vehicle comes into play as part of a series of entertaining race distractions. Padding out games with racing side quests is nothing new, but it's the way Arkham Knight involves them in the overall experience that makes them so great.

Used as part of an ongoing story also involving Catwoman, these races against the clock have players interacting with the environment in entertaining ways. There's an arcade-like feel the many of them, with only the final sprint proving truly challenging, if not a little frustrating. Nonetheless, they're worth it, because they use interaction with the race course itself, and that only opens up yet another gameplay element to the franchise.
