Batman: Arkham Legacy - 10 Villains We Want To See
4. Huntress
To coincide with her big screen debut in the Birds of Prey movie, the crossbow-wielding Huntress would be a worthy addition to Arkham lore having been a part of the Batman universe since 1989’s Huntress series of graphic novels.
The daughter of a prominent mob boss, the nineteen-year-old Helena Bertinelli watched her entire family be murdered in a mob hit, and swore vengeance on the perpetrators of organised crime.
Crossing paths with Batman on multiple occasions, their difference of ideology and method usually puts them at odds despite their common goals. A highly skilled combatant and crack-shot marksman with her trademark crossbow, the inclusion of Huntress in Arkham Legacy gives plenty of scope for character progression.
She is a conflicted, multi-faceted character, neither irrevocably bad nor the perennially optimistic poster child.
Perhaps beginning the game as an enemy, facing down the Dark Knight in epic hand-to-hand combat and imaginative boss battles using her trusty crossbow, Helena could even, depending on the story script, end the game as an ally of the Bat family – maybe even a playable ally at that.
