3. The Return Of The Al-Ghuls
There are some big, old, fat spoilers for Arkham City in this one. Easily the best plot in Arkham City revolved around Batman's infiltration of Ra's al-Ghul's inner sactum and al-Ghul trying desperately to reel Batman into a position to be groomed as the next Demon's Head, sire an heir with his concernedly gorgeous daughter Talia, and to maybe take a shower every now and again. Unfortunately for any future Ra's plots, both al-Ghuls wind up dead by the end of City. Now, Ra's is a character known to use a device called a Lazarus Pit to bring himself and others back to life, so this is potentially not the last time we'll run across the al-Ghuls, but the prequel is the perfect time opportunity to really let loose on some backstory between Batman and these two troublemakers that never got a real chance to come out in City's admittedly very muddled and overstuffed plot. Origins tells the story of Batman being chased down by eight assassins, and only six of them have been revealed so far. Wouldn't it be a great surprise if one of those remaining slots were filled by Talia, and we got to see Talia and Bats interact and perhaps share their first night together? It's now or never, Batman franchise. It's now or never.
