EA today officially confirmed the release date through twitter for their Battlefield 3 DLC. The Back to Karkand DLC pack will be released on December 6th on the PSN and December 13th on the Xbox 360 and PC. It was known ahead of time that the PS3 would be getting a timed exclusive DLC pack and that Xbox and PC users would have to wait a week before being able to purchase it. For those of you that purchased the limited edition version of Battlefield 3, you will be getting the Back to Karkand DLC pack for free. Everyone else will have to pay $14.99 US on the PSN or PC and 1200 Microsoft points on Xbox Live. Back to Karkand will feature four classic Battlefield maps that will be re-rendered on the Battlefield 3 engine. There will also be three new vehicles and ten new weapons, in addition to a new game mode Conquest Assault. How many of you will be buying this DLC or are they not including enough to justify the purchase?
