Breath Of The Wild 2: 7 Bold Predictions From The E3 Trailer
5. The Return Of Traditional Dungeons
One of the few flaws with the original Breath of the Wild was the lack of traditional dungeons. Divine Beasts were an interesting concept, but all four of them (five if you count the DLC) felt very similar and lacked a personality to call their own.
In previous Zelda titles, every dungeon was a unique experience. Fortunately, it appears we are getting these unique dungeons once again in Breath of the Wild 2.
There are a few pieces of evidence to suggest that Divine Beasts are a thing of the past.
Firstly, the exterior shot of what is most likely a dungeon in the trailer.
Second, the majority of the trailer appears to take place in a dungeon.
Lastly, it would make no sense to have Divine Beasts return, as there were only ever four in the first place. If more appeared out of nowhere it would make no sense. Divine Beasts are pretty big too, so I doubt another handful are lying dormant underground.
