Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Ranking All 20 Primary Weapons

The MX9 feels like an approximation of the MP5, which has been a staple of the Call of Duty franchise for quite some time. A snappy, quick SMG which fires 9mm rounds, what the MX9 sacrifices in damage is made up for by its mobility, and more stagnant players will have a hard time bringing down agile combatants wielding this versatile gun.

Of course, it does suffer slightly from the relative underperformance of all submachine guns in Black Ops 4, but it could certainly trounce some of the more unwieldy weapons in its category. Few guns are as effective at close range than the MX9, and players often hope that they aren’t caught in a bad spot by a quick-witted player brandishing one of these SMGs.

Labeled a peashooter by some, the MX9 drops off quite a bit at range, but players opting to build loadouts around something like this should already be aware of that. A cautionless player running headlong into combat with this gun will quickly find themselves fodder for snipers and tactical rifles, but it works well in its element.
