Call Of Duty Black Ops: Declassified Details Emerge

Amazon has put the price at $49.96, making it the most expensive game on the Vita.

Amazon have outed some brand new details on the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops. Declassified. This is the game exclusive to Sony's Playstation Vita and considering we didn't get many details on it at E3, apart from one solitary picture during their conference, we have to look farther afield for any scraps of information.

Amazon has put the price at $49.96. This makes the title the most expensive game on the Vita, only undercutting a full PS3 release by 10 dollars. The only other game that could get away with this high price for a portable game was Uncharted: Golden Abyss when that first released. The release date listed is December 31st 2012. Whether or not this is a place holder remains to be seen, but it would make sense that Sony would want to release a big budget title around the holiday season, when people are more willing than usual to part with their pennies.

The product description highlights how it was specifically made with the portable market in mind which shines through in both its singleplayer and multiplayer offerings.

Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.
