CALL OF DUTY ELITE For PC Cancelled?

Call of Duty Elite had already been delayed for the PC about a week ago, but now it might be more serious than was initially thought.

In a tweet from the official Call of Duty Elite Twitter account, it is hinted that the PC version of Elite may have been cancelled. Call of Duty Elite had already been delayed for the PC about a week ago, but now it might be more serious than was initially thought. Here is the exact tweet:
"We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC,"
The initial delay was to prevent hacking in the PC version of the game, so people could not change their statistics artificially. However, with the crashing of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Call of Duty Elite due to high demand; Activision has probably spent a considerable amount of time fixing the crashes and not working on the PC version of Elite. You would think that because of the high demand for the service that Activision would be guaranteeing a PC version of Elite, but that tweet doesn't make it sound like we will be getting the service any time soon if ever.
