Call Of Duty: Warzone - 10 Reasons You NEED To Play

5. Weapons And Loadouts

Blackout may have allowed for gamers to find attachments and improve their favourite rifles that were spread across the map. However, the lack of variants meant that players were sticking to the same two or three weapons depending on their preference. Warzone takes a different approach adopting the same weapon system as Apex Legends and Fortnite, where weapons come in variants from common greys, all the way to exotic oranges – each with increasing attachments.

However, the most original improvement of this formula is the loadout packages which players can buy with their in-game cash and also randomly spawn. These drop in the map and allow players to select their favourite loadouts from the multiplayer of Modern Warfare, and to date is the only way to apply perks within Warzone.

With these altercations to the accessible weapons, players aren’t just sticking to their game favourites, but are weighing up the pros and cons of a weapon they love, the weapon that are kitted out, and the risk of trying to retrieve the balance of both. While there are still the basic variants of SMGs, snipers, rifles and the like, it encourages players to adapt their play style, all the while experimenting with new weapons within the game.
