Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Announced

It has been about two years since the original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was released to good but not great reviews. However, the perception was that it was very good game and people did want a sequel to it. Well Konami officially announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is in development, however no release date has been revealed. The game is in development at Spanish developer Mercury Steam, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 official first trailer was shown off at Konami's pre-E3 2012 ceremony. The game will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 but no official word on whether the system will be released on the Wii U. The trailer showed off the return of Gabriel Belmont the protagonist from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. He was going up against a large army, and after fending off the army Belmont turns into a "giant bird to fight a large golemesque creature." A mysterious new character is also shown in the trailer but not much else is known about the game at this time. Konami's president said more would be revealed about the game later this year, so we may get the same trailer at E3 next week but new information about the game will likely not be announced. A sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has been rumored for sometime now, but Konami wouldn't confirm anything. Even when the composer basically came out and said that he was working on the sequel two years ago. I did like the first game, but I never was able to finish the game but I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure games.
