Comic-Con 2014: 10 Titles Every Gamer Wants To See
4. Mortal Kombat X
The flip-side to Tekken's colourful cast of characters all animated in the most appealing and accessible way, is the bone-snapping, throat ripping, Fatality-endorsing Mortal Kombat series. Coming after MK9 set the bar sky-high on how to do a fighting game campaign, it's over to MKX to deliver on the hype and continue producing a series that offers so much more than just mindless violence. With fan-favourite and franchise veteran Raiden being confirmed as part of the returning roster along with Sub-Zero and Scorpion, plus newcomers Kotal Kahn, D'Vorah, Cassie Cage, and dual-fighters Ferrah and Torr, MKX is looking to be the most diverse entry in the series yet. One of the main reasons MKX should make an appearance at the Con is mostly down to the amount of cosplayers who'll already be turning up dressed as the roster anyway, plus the fact that besides at a few key events there's not been a mass playing of the new game yet, and any on-hands time is something many fans want to see and read about.
