Concept Art for New Suda51 Game 'Killer is Dead' Released

Judging by the concept art, you can be sure Killer is Dead will be as surreal as all other Suda51 games.

After bringing you the new advert for Lollypop Chainsaw yesterday, Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51 have released concept art for their next game, Killer is Dead.

Little is known about the game apart from that you play an executioner who has to hunt down criminals. It may sound like a similar storyline to Killer7 and No More Heroes but it's not a squeal to either, however it will have similar swordplay to No More Heroes. Killer is Dead is being described as a 'Dark Side 007' which presumably means that you will have sexy bond like girls in the game. As Shadows of the Damned and Lollypop Chainsaw show, Suda51 and Grasshopper are not afraid to inject a healthy dose of sex in their games.

Judging by the concept art, you can be sure Killer is Dead will be as surreal as all other Suda51 games. In one shot you have a giant stomping on a what looks like a nuclear plant and it appears the main protagonist has a cyborg arm. The game is not set for release until next year and is being published in Japan by Kadokawa Games. It's unclear who will publish the game in the west but if Lollypop Chainsaw is a hit, I'm sure Warner Bros who are the publisher for that game will jump at the chance.
