4. Retrying Bonus Levels Doesn't Cost Lives Or Affect A 'No Death' Run

Another slight reprieve from the hair-tearing relentlessness of 100%'ing Crash 1, you can actually treat these side-scrolling Bonus Rounds as breaths of fresh air, if nothing else.

As failing them doesn't count as a death towards your total on the level and there's also no limit on how many times you can hop back on the platform to try again, just plant your feet and repeat until you make it through.

Do note though: You'll need all the crates in any Bonus Round to get the 'all crates' gems. So if you miss any, just hop into the dark below and go again - it's the only way!
