Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - 9 Easter Eggs, Secrets & References You Must Find
4. Multiple Uncharted References - Coco's Laptop & Drake pic
Although Naughty Dog have distanced themselves from Crash after leaving the character behind with Universal, it's clear some real-world conversations had to take place for Activision to be granted permission to use Nathan Drake's likeness. Unless Sony just stepped in and granted Vicarious Visions whatever they please, of course.
Anyway, everyone's favourite quip-happy explorer is present twice in the N. Sane Trilogy, first as a loving portrait inside the Bandicoot household at the beginning of Crash 3, and also in Crash 2, though the inclusion there is quite N. Sane in itself... (sorry)
So here's a brain-breaker: Coco is watching Drake play Crash who would then sit with Coco and watch Drake playing Crash.
Simple, no?
It's very heartwarming to see both sets of developers create this in-game, fourth wall-breaking connection, and following Uncharted 4, shows that Naughty Dog are very much comfortable being associated with Crash once again.
