Cyberpunk 2077 Officially DELAYED

The game is finished, but there's still work to be done.

Last night, CD Projekt Red confirmed that their upcoming RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is being delayed from its September release date to November 19.

This marks the second time the anticipated project has been pushed back this year, as originally it was supposed to hit in April. The developers revealed the date alongside a new statement though (which you can read over on the company's official Twitter account), laying out exactly why the decision was made.

Essentially, the game itself is feature complete, meaning that you could play everything it has to offer from beginning to end, but it needs a few more months of polish. An RPG this ambitious is a technical nightmare to assemble, and the devs clearly don't want to rush out a product full of bugs and technical issues.
