Darksiders 2 Gets Collector's Edition From the Underworld
Will include a limited edition copy of the game, a Replica Life-Sized Death Mask, the original soundtrack, a hardcover art book, and the Shadow of Death Armor and Scythe Set.
THQ recently announced via press release, that a collector's edition for Darksiders 2 will be available for pre-order, retailing at $99. They also were so kind as to make any existing or new pre-orders for the title upgraded to a limited edition for free. Was it really a surprise that this title was going to get a collector's edition? The limited edition contains a unique code allowing buyers to download the game's first single player downloadable content, Argul's Tomb for free once it's available. Remember all you have to do to get the code is simply pre-order now! Anyone who chooses to opt for the collector's edition will receive a limited edition copy of the game, a Replica Life-Sized Death Mask, the original soundtrack, a hardcover art book, and the Shadow of Death Armor and Scythe Set. While it isn't specifically said whether or not you will get early access to Argul's Tomb for free if you purchase the collector's edition, for those of you who don't like to think to hard, it's safe to assume that you're collector's copy is already going to contain the code. That just wouldn't make too much sense would it? Darksiders 2 is June 26th for consoles and PC. What do you think are you gonna pre-order? The game is looking to improve on the solid foundation Vigil set from the first, and it's shaping up well.
