9. Grass Is Good
Unlike Dark Souls and Bloodborne which relied on the use of estus flasks and blood vials for health regeneration, Demon's Souls tackles our hate of vegetables by forcing us to eat our greens. Since the various grasses found throughout the game can heal you, make sure to carry as many as you can, but never forget to keep an eye out for your weight. Since the grasses that restore the most health are also the heaviest, they will effect your item load the most.
The PS5 remake has also introduced us to various grains that can be consumed for a temporary buff to your character's elemental defenses. In other words, stock up on these when facing off against a boss that relies heavily on the use of magic. It's the one instance where grains are probably preferable over and above gains.
