E3 this year was full of tons of exciting moments, with exclusive game reveals, new trailers, gameplay footage and conferences all round. Amid all of this excitement though, is the constant stream of disappointment that results from certain games being absent. Sometimes it's something that was announced years ago and is still missing in action, or maybe it was a recently unveiled game that everyone wanted to know more about - either way the hype train had already left the station, but unfortunately E3 isn't always a scheduled stop on its route. This year, the massive gaming event was no different. One after another, press conferences came and went and none of the games on this list saw any time in the spotlight. Perhaps developers and publishers aren't aware of what they've got, or it could just be a simple case of not having enough to show yet - only the people behind the curtain know that answer. E3 2014 was great and there are tons of things to be excited about for the rest of the year as we continue towards 2015, but it's hard not to be gutted these games weren't shown.
