E3 2012: Peter Molyneux Unveils Curiosity

At first glance the premise is that you as a player will join other players in breaking down a giant cube, which is comprised of smaller cubes.

The former boss at Lionhead Studios and the creator of popular titles such as Populous, Black and White and Fable has announced his newest project. Straight from the newly formed 22 Cans, Peter Molyneux has let the first details drop on his new game Curiosity. At first glance the premise is that you as a player will join other players in breaking down a giant cube, which is comprised of smaller cubes. Perhaps experiment is a better way to describe the app, rather than game. Peter had stated earlier that 22 Cans were working on 22 experiments. There's really no telling what Molyneux is about to unleash upon the world. Speaking on GameTrailer's pre-E3 show, Molyneux confirmed that the app would be headed to PC and mobiles. Now this cube which is made up of thousands of other cubes, is what is presented to players when they boot up the game. You can then tap on the cube to begin breaking into it, the twist being that you'll be joining every single other person using the app doing the exact same thing. Surely there's probably more to it than that, but Peter Molyneux is keeping quiet for the time being, letting us all sit and try to figure out what one of the most interesting men in gaming is up to.
