E3 2012: Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale - Drake & Big Daddy Confirmed?

Two more characters outed for Sony's starry fight-fest thanks to Playstation's Facebook page...

Ahead of Sony's E3 conference, an accidentally premature Facebook post seems to have confirmed that Uncharted hero Nathan Drake and Bioshock character Big Daddy will both be playable characters in the upcoming fight-fest Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The PlayStation Facebook page briefly featured a poll carrying a"Who will win this Battle Royale?" message, and two images which prematurely announced the inclusion of both Big Daddy, and Nathan Drake, along with already confirmed characters Colonel Radec, Fat Princess, Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper and Parappa. Here are the images, courtesy of IGN... Obviously, this isn't confirmation just yet - but it seems an awfully big coincidence, and the fact that they feature as part of official polls seems fairly indicative, and it is widely expected now that the characters will be confirmed either during the Sony E3 conference later today or shortly afterwards. Drake was always going to be included, considering his position as crown prince of Playstation exclusives (and thanks to Eric Ladin's suggestive tweet), but the inclusion of Big Daddy is somewhat more surprising, but no less exciting. The big mechanical character will surely offer some brutal strength and force in the battle arena. Who else would you like to see included on the roster? Rumours abound that Solid Snake will feature, as well as InFamous's Cole McGrath, but we have no official confirmation on either yet, and we are left at this stage to offer our fantasy picks for the playable cast. You can follow all of our Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale coverage by heading over to the game's dedicated hub-page on this very site.
