E3 2015: 12 Biggest Moments From Microsoft's Xbox Conference

12. Dark Souls III

For some, even the barest mention of another Dark Souls is enough to bring about backflips of pure excitement, and although the trailer shown during the conference didn't show any gameplay, it was this change of tact to focus on the game's hefty interpretable lore that'll easily have resonated well with fans. Sadly it's being reported that DS 3 is going to be the last Souls game, as the team have now done three within a six year timespan, although with the gigantic skyline-devouring titan of the trailer as a boss of some sort they'll surely be going out with a bang. Right now both the Souls series (including Bloodborne) have become something of gaming legend due to their unremittingly hard difficulty and uncompromisingly brutal level design - the simple fact that mastermind Hidetaki Miyazaki is putting another one of these out is reason enough to be very excited.
