3. Elijah Wood's VR Game Transference

VR owners were given a brief moment to perk up when Elijah Wood appeared in a mysterious teaser for Ubisoft's new game Transference. Wood's real-life film production company SpectreVision are teaming with Ubisoft for this mysterious psychological thriller title which will apparently attempt to immerse players by messing with their perception of reality.

Details are thin on the ground, but the brief teaser was rather unsettling (in a good way), and there was even a brief appearance from Blue Ruin star Macon Blair, so that's cool too.

It won't land until next spring, which might be a little frustrating for VR owners feeling starved of content, but with its seemingly ambitious approach to narrative and immersion, it could very well be worth the wait.
