E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Microsoft's Conference

4. Fable 4 Teased

Fable Anniversary
Lionhead

This may just be a rumour at the moment, but it sounds like Fable 4 might be in development. Even if it isn't fully revealed at this year's E3, teasing it would pay off in a big way.

As it stands right now, Microsoft isn't exactly known for their beloved exclusives. Almost all of their games at the moment are third-party ones and the others just aren't as well received as Sony's or Nintendo's.

However, the one franchise that Microsoft has always had over the others is Fable, and having a new one in development would be huge, especially if it goes back to the franchises' roots.

This would also be a big way of winning over the Fable fans who were burned by the cancellation of Fable Legends and closure of Lionhead. The rumours have suggested that Fable 4 is under the codename Wisdom and being developed by Playground Games, who also made the Forza Horizon games.

Even if the rumours end up being true, don't expect Fable 4 to be fully revealed anytime soon, as it's also been said that development has only begun recently. Still, it should make an appearance at E3, however brief.
