E3 2019: 10 Announcements That Would Rock The Internet

5. The Simpsons Hit & Run Remake

Bare with us here, as this makes more sense than you think.

So, we're long overdue a new Simpsons game. Though the TV series has continued to languish on Fox, the reverence players have for the classic video games, from Hit and Run to Road Rage to even the 2007 Simpsons Game, has never wavered, and a remastered collection of some of these titles for current consoles would be an easy win.

Back to why something Simpsons-related would be at this E3.

Well, The Simpsons writers are attending E3 for some undisclosed reason, which suggests something new, rather than a remaster. However, while a new game could be announced at the event, there's no reason they couldn't hype players up by delivering a remastered collection of older titles to get everybody interested.

While the biggie is of course Hit and Run, a title which - for whatever reason - continues to be talked about when better games have been left by the wayside, there's no reason any publisher should stop there, and instead bundle together all of those PS2-era "classics".
