Bethesda mostly focused on updated looks on things that are already known, or we are aware are incoming. Yet, it managed two nice surprises; Arkane Studio's Deathloop and Tango Games' Ghostwire: Tokoyo.
Sure, they were both only cinematic trailer reveals (a sad trend at this years showing), yet it was great to see Bethesda's two most exciting studios prepping brand new I.P's to bring out. Both had fans very happy, although Ghostwire ever more so - but not in the way you think.
After god-like game developer Shinji Mikami game out on stage to introduce the game, he let his game director Ikumi Nakamura take the stage. Clearly nervous and struggling with the English language, the genuinely likeable energy and passion for her project eeked through - making her one of the most memorable parts of this year's show.
