EA Sports UFC 2: 10 Highest Rated Pound-For-Pound Fighters
6. Rafael Dos Anjos (94)
Brazilian Dos Anjos was actually due to face Conor McGregor at UFC 196 for the second defence of his Lightweight strap, but serious foot injury prevented him from doing so. Conor McGregor instead stepped up to face Nate Diaz, whom he was defeated by - much to the shock of the sporting world. The Lightweight king (25-7) has an aggressive front-foot style, though only five of his wins have come by way of knockout. His preference to close off corners with smart footwork, and to pin his opponent against the cage makes him a real bully inside the octagon. His ground-and-pound style upon takedown led many people to believe Conor McGregor would have been in serious trouble had Dos Anjos pinned him down in their now-cancelled Lightweight showdown. There is still no set-date for his return from injury, with the Brazilian taking the appropriate precaution of allowing his foot to heal properly before making any announcements. In spite of Conor McGregor's accusations that the injury was little more than a 'bruise', it has been confirmed that Dos Anjos' foot is indeed broken.
