EGX 2015: 8 Unexpectedly Good Video Games That Blew Us Away

4. Line Wobbler

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ_5ol_kyL4 From virtual reality to a minimalist view of reality, Line Wobbler is a one dimensional dungeon drawler. Played on an LED strip, you control a little green light as it bravely runs over lava (yellow lights), fights enemies (red lights) and takes on challenging bosses (slightly larger red lights). Wiggling the controller right to left performs an attack, and with 11 levels currently available, this is something that you could probably set up in your own home. What really makes this game stand out - apart from the fact you're playing aa lightbulb against other lightbulbs - is how much tension comes from the levels. Fighting the final boss as it spewed attacks at the little green dot is more harrowing than most of the AAA boss fights on the market at the moment. For something relatively simple, the rewards are great.
