FPS specialists Crytek are at it again, bringing us a fresh new I.P in the genre. At first glance, this would seem like overly familiar stuff; team up with a partner and traverse an open-world map to hunt down different monsters or objectives.
Crytek's fresh spin though is once that mission is completed, you become a human target for all the players on the map, leading to frantic and strategical battles in the obscured swampy environments.
On paper, it sounds kind of like Monster Hunter meets PUBG, and although that has the potential to fall flat, the Early Access reviews have been unanimously positive.
If this can distract the Apex Legends crowd for a play session, will be the true tester...
