Every January 2019 Video Game Release Ranked By Anticipation

3. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes

Resident Evil 2 Remake
Nintendo

Release Date: January 18

Platforms: Switch

Likely, the closest Suda 51 has gotten to a legit franchise is the No More Heroes series.

The developer is a legend amongst cult gamer circles; his games boom with excitement and ballsy ideas but the gameplay tends to be half-baked, and his stories can be frustratingly nonsensical.

The No More Heroes series (released on the Wii) was an exception; as the combat was satisfying and the plot focused (yet flavorful).

Now, Travis is back for a third go around, with anticipation high from the fans. The preview circuit has been decidedly mixed in response but Suda's flavour usually works better fully embraced than in small (head-scratching) doses.
