5. Watch Dogs: Legion

last of us 2
Ubisoft

The third entry in the Watch Dogs franchise was first revealed back at E3 2019 by Ubisoft, to be developed mainly by Ubisoft Toronto assisted by various support studios.

This sequel attracted a lot of interest with its features allowing players to take control of any random NPC (including an old Granny) and allowing players to have a truly dynamic experience.

The setting of the game in futuristic London was a hot-topic due to the subject of Brexit as well, and has attracted various commentaries on differing ends on the political spectrum. The Brexit issue and influence has been dismissed by the game developers however.

First announced to be released on March 6 2020, Ubisoft eventually announced a delay to late 2020 for a cross-generation release with the next generation consoles.
