Ubisoft

Gods and Monsters was revealed by Ubisoft back during E3 2019 as a new open-world Greek mythology video game in development at Ubisoft Quebec (the studio behind Assassin's Creed: Odyssey).

This new IP immediately drew comparisons with Breath of the Wild, crossed with the setting and style of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. There are worse things you could be compared to.

Players would take control of Fenyx (a fully customizable protagonist) in a quest to help the Gods of Olympus fight back against Typhon. Homer would narrate this story and would be subject to some interruptions which would allow for lots of humourous moments.

First slated to be released on February 25 2020, the game has been delayed in order to provide an 'increase of development time' and possibly allow for cross-generational support with the PS5 and Xbox Series One. There has not been a date announced as of yet.
