In Japan, the Etrian Odyssey and Persona franchises are a massive deal, so when Atlus combined forces with the latter's property and the former's development team to concoct a Persona-based spin-off in the dungeon-crawling stylings of Etrian, it was big news.
Oh, and everyone looks like an adorable chibi version of characters from Persona 3 and 4. That combo sold like gangbuster in the East so rightfully we're getting a sequel.
Persona arguably works best as a portable series, so there is little reason to assume this upcoming sequel will disappoint the inbuilt audience.
