Redeemer takes its premise from tried and true action cinema, featuring a weathered ex-assassin attempting a peaceful life, just for bad guys to make him revert to his old ways. He does so in plenty of satisfying and bone-crunching combat that lets you utilise your environment, a handful of blunt objects, plus your granite fists.
It's a fun homage to the retro beat-em-up genre and just like the films it references, it might be simple but looks no less enjoyable.
