Famed Swiss artist (and purveyor of nightmares) H.R. Giger's legacy keeps on ticking, blatantly so with this video game sequel to the cult '90s title.
The original was a point-and-click adventure game with a morbidly dark outlook and heavily inspired by said artist's pantheon of work. This follow-up doesn't attempt to jazz the formula up; it is very much rooted in the old-school nature of the gameplay, as well as the slow-burn atmosphere and horror of the original.
Let's see if it can be just as effective and memorable.
