Unfortunately, this entry is by necessity gender-specific, because the backstory of Fallout 4's male protagonist makes for a much more interesting DLC prospect than the female's (being a graduate from law school just doesn't cut it). Nevertheless, a flashback DLC depicting some of the war experiences of the male hero would be fascinating, because we'd get a rare glimpse of the world as it began tearing itself apart. We don't really know why the male Fallout 4 hero stopped fighting in the Sino-American War, or even where he fought, and gaining some kind of perspective on this would help flesh out his story, which in the base game is a little lacking. Perhaps such a flashback could take us back to Anchorage, albeit depicted in a more convincing way than in the Fallout 3 DLC, or America's attack on China in the Yangtze Campaign, where the use of Power Armour turned the tide of the war. With the vastly improved gunplay mechanics of Fallout 4 over its predecessors, the idea of a combat-focused DLC (with a heavy focus on the protagonist's story) is perfectly feasible, and would give us invaluable insights into the Fallout 4 backstory.
