7. World Tour Soccer 2006 (PS2)
I originally wanted to put Winning Eleven 8 on this list seeing as it is one of the best soccer games of all time, however if you guys recall the P.E.S series began as the Winning Eleven series thus making Winning Eleven 8 really Pro Evolution Soccer 4bummer. But, what I got is even better. Well not really. World Tour Soccer 2006 is a decent soccer simulator. It has everything youve come to expect and more from a soccer simulator. However, there are a few things that bring the game down, the first of these being the A.I. If you toss this bad boy on the pro difficulty setting, you are able to single footedly score. Even moving the difficulty up you will find yourself being a little Lionel Messi. The next thing that brought this game down was the commentary. The commentary was awful. Sometimes I would play the game on mute and commentate it myself with friends. There was no online play either (2-8 multiplayer though). I did find it cool to use the Eye Toy and put my likeness in the game. World Tour Soccer is a competent game that was unfortunate to stand in the shadow of giants in 2006. (FIFA, PES).
