With finishing stats of 87, dribbling of 86 and ball control of 81 Doumbia could hit the net like the very best of his striking rivals, and his impressive potential of 86 made him a near-essential purchase for his comparatively low asking price. In FIFA 13, Doumbia is as big a draw for players looking for a pacey, accomplished striker with a reasonable, though not astronomical price-tag (above £20m is about the going rate these days) - his ratings are still great, with 93 for sprint speed and 88 for acceleration, plus the same stamina rating (90) from FIFA 12, and his striking ratings are still around the same level as last year. Worth Buying? If the Daily Mail are to be believed, Newcastle United certainly think so, with a real life bid allegedly in the offing, and if his FIFA 13 stats are anything to go by, it's certainly worth a punt by the usually frugal Mike Ashley. The biggest draw is his potential, which has increased this year to 89, and which will make any outlay to bring him in from CSKA Moscow less of a gamble.
